Americas Choice Capital is a private, asset-based lender built for real estate investors and the brokers who represent them. We finance the straightforward deals and the complicated ones — evaluating the asset, the economics, and the exit rather than running everything through a rigid checklist.
Why we exist
Banks and conventional lenders have their boxes. Real estate doesn't always fit neatly inside them. A good deal on a distressed property, a borrower with a complicated but explainable credit history, a transaction that needs to close in days instead of months — conventional underwriting treats all of these as reasons to say no.
We started Americas Choice Capital to be the lender that says "let's look at it" instead. We're still a disciplined, legitimate lender with real underwriting standards — we're not in the business of lending on anything. But complexity, on its own, isn't a reason to self-reject a deal.
How we lend
We're an asset-based lender. Our underwriting philosophy starts with the collateral — value, equity, loan-to-value, basis, condition, and marketability — and the transaction economics: what's the plan, and does it make sense.
Credit still matters. It's part of the picture, not the whole picture. When the asset and the transaction make sense, a bruised credit history isn't automatically a deal killer. We finance ordinary hard-money transactions every day; the deals other lenders won't touch are where we tend to add the most value.

We underwrite the asset first
Value, equity, loan-to-value, condition, and exit strategy carry the transaction. Credit matters, but it isn't the entire conversation — the property and the plan are.
We use the process the deal calls for
Straightforward deals move quickly. Complicated ones get the diligence they need. A traditional appraisal isn't automatically required for every transaction — we scope the underwriting to fit.
We don't self-reject deals, and neither should you
